Leftover goat kebab

October 22, 2010

This is just an idea for what to do with your goat leftovers. As with leftover lamb, I love to do a simple kebab dish, with good dressing, veggies and hot sauce. It is perfect on a hung over sunday!

Cut up  the cooked goats meat. Heat up a frying pan with some oil, and fry the pieces with some spices. I used a mix of chili powder, cumin, coriander, allspice and paprika. But use whatever spices you like! Fry just until the meat is warm. If it is cooked too long, it gets pretty dry.

Serve it with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, red onions and parsley. I made the dressing with sour cream, dried dill, garlic, salt and pepper. Serve it with pita bread (as I usually do. The day of the picture the store was out though, so I substituted with baguette).

And don’t forget the hot sauce!
