Awesome and cheap tapas place in Berlin
I know the blog has been quiet for a while which was caused by a mix of sickness and vacation. Last week I went to Berlin with my friend Lærke, where I caught a cold that lasted most of this week. But before the cold got to me, Lærke and I had a wonderful meal that I would like to tell you about. Or mostly, I just want to recommend this tiny and cheap place to you. I went there twice last year with my Dad and brother, and then again this year with Lærke. It isn’t a fancy place, but they have wonderful (and cheap) cold cuts and warm tapas, their cheap house wine is very smooth and drinkable, and the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. A dinner of tapas for two plus enough wine to get us both quite drunk was 31 Euros. And no, it isn’t a typo, it is just dirt cheap!
It is called Tapitas and is located in the lovely area of Prenzlauer Berg. The link will tell you the exact address and opening hours. And by the way, if you haven’t been yet, go to Berlin! It is such a nice city.
Note: Sorry but the picture isn’t from the restaurant. In lack of better I used a picture of a tapas spread my Dad and I made last year.
